When used in massage, woodland marjoram organic essential oil has a soothing effect on tired muscles and can help allieviate muscle cramps. When used in air diffusion, woodland marjoram organic essential oil has strong anti-infective properties and can also be used as an expectorant. When used in air diffusion, woodland or wild organic marjoram essential oil has a spicy, herbaceous, camphorated scent which is very different to sweet marjoram. Woodland organic marjoram is actually part of the thyme family.
