Aromatherapy uses

Ho wood essential oil, or shiu wood essential oil, was traditionally used in Japan and China as a deodorant, a skin tonic and as a muscle relaxant. When used in aromatherapy massage, ho wood essential oil can be massage into the chest to help clear respiratory problems. When massaged into the limbs, ho wood essential oil can help soothe and relax over worked muscles. Ho wood essential oil should be diluted to 5% in a suitable organic vegetable oil before being applied to the skin. When used in air diffusion, ho wood essential oil has similar properties to rosewood essential oil. Ho wood essential oil has a warm, woody and slightly sweet aroma which helps create a sense of wellbeing and is perfect for autumn and winter evenings. When used in air diffusion, ho wood essential oil has strong anti-bacterial properties which can help to stave off winter viruses and disinfect the air.
